BLACK SHEEP:
The award winning show Black Sheep is the autobiographical story about a Black queer womxn finding love. Love in all it’s forms but foremost self-love. A poetry Theatre production that celebrates Blackness out of a diasporic lense. Boundary breaking and genre defying. In this theatrical collage Livia is speaking on subjects like LGBTQIA+ identity, the repercussions of loosing her adoptive parents early on in life and understanding and overcoming internalised and institutional racism. She cleverly tells her story though poetry theatre, movement and singing while incorporating wit and humour. Her way inspiring others with her words enables her to create an exciting connection with her audience and carries the performance effortless through genre intersections from Theatre to Live Art.
